Deposit
A deposit of £30 must be made for each dress rental. If the below conditions regarding damage and cleaning are met the deposit will be returned in full within 7 days of dress being received at Find Me.
Damage
We want you to enjoy wearing our dresses and understand a small amount of wear is natural.
However, if tailoring repair work is required this will be taken from your deposit (and the remainder returned). Similarly, if the dress is deemed unsaleable, your deposit will not be returned. However, we deal with each dress on a case-by-case basis so email us at [email protected] if you have any concerns.
Cleaning
Dresses must be sent back in the state in which they arrived. Whether this involves dry cleaning or not is up to the customer’s discretion. Dresses not returned in a state deemed suitable for immediate re-rental will incur a charge being taken from the deposit.
Postage
Postage is charged in addition to the fixed £10 and £20 rental fees. For outbound post this will be £5, and return post is up to the customer. Tracked or signed for post is advised as without proof loss will not be considered a viable excuse for non-return. If the dress isn’t returned for any reason (including postage loss) your deposit will not be returned.
We do not include Sundays and Bank Holidays in the return dates so please don’t worry about getting it back within 3 days if the post office is closed.
Fit and Colouring
Photos and description aim to be representative of the realistic colours and fit. However, it is possible perceptions may vary and in this case Find Me is not liable for customer dissatisfaction. However, we want you to be happy so will offer store credit for unworn returns, if the customers bears all postage costs. Descriptions contain measurements as well as labelled sizes, however some dresses may have been altered by previous owners so measurements are essential to consider before renting.
We offer a ‘Try On’ scheme - for an extra £5 postage charge we will send you up to 3 dresses to try on. Then simply wear your favourite and return all three together after your event. You’ll only be charged for wearing one. Just book one dress and message us directly about the extra ones.
Refunds
As stated above Find Me Charity does not offer refunds for dresses not fitting or appearing as expected. In these cases store credit will be offered. However, in the extremely unlikely case that a dress does not arrive by the specified delivery date a full refund will be paid.
Charity donation
25% of the sale price of every dress will go to a registered charity. This amounts to £5 on a full length dress (£20 rental) and £2.50 on a short dress (£10 rental).
